What you will do

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and assigned regional markets, validating all inputs and deductions.
• Manage statutory submissions and compliance with local labour laws, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and validations to maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Process salary adjustments, promotions, bonuses, and ad-hoc payments with full confidentiality.
• Coordinate with regional payroll partners and EOR providers to validate outputs and enforce SLAs.
• Identify inefficiencies in payroll workflows and support improvements in SOPs and HRIS integration.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll operations, preferably covering multi-country or regional payroll.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and spreadsheets.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong coordination skills to work effectively with HR, Finance, and external vendors.
