Client Partner (Central Government): Driving strategic growth and managing a portfolio of high-value accounts within the UK public sector with an accent on building senior-level relationships and delivering complex digital transformation projects. Focus on achieving multi-million pound sales targets, leading multidisciplinary account teams, and navigating the unique challenges of central government policy and procurement.

Location: Must be based in the UK with the ability to work from office hubs in Bristol, London, Manchester, or Swansea.

Salary: £80,000–£100,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth within Central and Devolved Government sectors.
  • Manage a multi-million pound annual sales target and oversee account profitability.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers.
  • Lead multidisciplinary account teams to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities through proactive networking and outreach.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in alignment with business guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must have existing relevant networks and experience within Central and Devolved Government.
  • Must be eligible for SC (Security Check) clearance (requires 5 years of UK residency and employment history).
  • Proven track record in growing strategic accounts and winning multi-million pound contracts.
  • Strong understanding of digital service concepts, agile methodologies, and public sector trends.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at the executive and C-level.
  • Expertise in consulting, account planning, and managing commercial P&L.
