Rotational Attorney (Energy)

What you will do

• Support real estate counsel with land acquisition, title reviews, and lease negotiations for renewable projects.
• Assist development attorneys with M&A activities, due diligence, permitting, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate on the construction phase of energy projects, including drafting and negotiating EPC contracts.
• Work with commercial teams on power purchase agreements (PPAs) and energy storage agreements.
• Support finance counsel on project financing transactions, including tax equity and debt financing.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one jurisdiction.
• Three to six years of relevant legal experience, preferably at a major law firm or in-house.
• Demonstrated interest in energy, infrastructure, or transactional law.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience in wind energy, battery storage, or general infrastructure project development.
