What you will do

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local employment tax returns and deposits.
• Research and resolve tax inquiries and notices from government agencies and auditors.
• Assist clients with payroll tax account setup and onboarding transitions.
• Manage payroll tax adjustments and ensure accurate bank and general ledger coding.
• Provide customer service regarding payroll tax requirements and compliance issues.
• Support Finance leadership on various administrative and tax-related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or four years of equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of experience in multi-state payroll tax filing.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax compliance and federal/state tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks under narrow time limitations.
