Human Resources Intern

TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Huntsville, AL

An employee-owned company supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers.

What you will do

• Assist with the migration of employee electronic records into the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
• Review employee records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Organize the HR file room, including inventorying, archiving, and secure disposal of records.
• Support HR administrative projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with benefit administration tasks and workforce training tracking.
• Participate in exit interviews and process required termination paperwork.

Requirements

• Senior college student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management.
• Current 3.5 GPA (must be listed on resume to be considered).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Willingness to pursue SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
