What you will do

• Conduct archaeological pedestrian surveys and subsurface testing.
• Collect and record archaeological data using GPS, photography, and site forms.
• Identify, measure, and document artifacts in the field.
• Prepare detailed and high-quality field notes.
• Work effectively as part of a team or independently in remote locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of archaeological field or field school experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to hike 5–10 miles per day in difficult terrain and variable weather.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
