What you will do
- Conduct archaeological pedestrian surveys and subsurface testing.
- Collect and record archaeological data using GPS, photography, and site forms.
- Identify, measure, and document artifacts in the field.
- Prepare detailed and high-quality field notes.
- Work effectively as part of a team or independently in remote locations.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 months of archaeological field or field school experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to hike 5β10 miles per day in difficult terrain and variable weather.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
