Development Intern

Location: New York, NY, USA; volunteers must be based in the United States. Bi-weekly in-person tasks are required at the New York City office.

What you will do

• Maintain and update a catalog of client stories and case studies in line with the development storytelling strategy.
• Coordinate with program departments to curate stories and support fundraising campaigns.
• Develop donor communication materials, including annual reports, welcome packets, and one-pagers.
• Support event planning, RSVP tracking, briefings, event-day activities, and follow-up.
• Assist with prospecting across individuals, foundations, and corporations, as well as fundraising analytics.
• Support private grants by preparing deliverable sheets and maintaining report and grant trackers, along with administrative projects.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution or have graduated from one within the last two years.
• Ability to support fundraising, prospecting, donor communications, events, grant tracking, and administrative tasks.
