Procurement Specialist

What you will do

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to minimize production disruptions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long-term agreements to achieve cost savings.
• Manage RFQs and supplier selection processes while maintaining accurate purchasing records.
• Partner with Engineering to manage component obsolescence and end-of-life planning.
• Collaborate with Planning to optimize inventory levels and reduce supply risk.
• Qualify secondary sources for critical components to reduce single-source dependency.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
• Knowledge of inventory management and production planning concepts.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to pass BPSS level pre-employment screening.
