What you will do

• Source, negotiate, and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, and services necessary for operations.
• Analyze statistical data to determine buying feasibility and establish price objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and track market price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and schedule.
• Review proposals, select suppliers, verify deliveries, and approve payments.
• Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and bid packages.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related or business management experience.
• Post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule at the designated hirify.global facility in Trumbull, Connecticut.
