What you will do

• Architect and maintain the data ecosystem, including pipelines, integrations, and the data warehouse.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement and scale product telemetry across product surfaces.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure pipeline health, data lineage, and system performance.
• Implement SLAs/SLOs and develop data quality monitoring to proactively catch anomalies and schema issues.
• Maintain the data team's evaluation framework to support growing AI use cases.
• Drive platform-wide engineering standards including CI/CD, testing frameworks, and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco and able to work from the office 2 days per week.
• 5+ years of experience architecting data warehouse and pipeline infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Fluent in dbt, workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow), and ELT/event tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools integrated into engineering workflows.
