TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Sales): Developing logistical solutions for SMB ecommerce merchants by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities with an accent on high-volume outbound prospecting and consultative selling. Focus on building a robust sales pipeline, mastering advanced CRM tools, and consistently exceeding activity and conversion quotas.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago, IL (Onsite Tuesday-Thursday). Eligible for fully remote work after 12 months in good standing.

Salary: $55,000 annually + Commission

What you will do

  • Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities to add 10+ prospects to your pipeline daily.
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Assess merchant fulfillment needs and determine fit for the hirify.global business model.
  • Schedule qualified demos for Account Executives.
  • Track all merchant interactions and activity metrics accurately in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with management to refine and optimize prospecting strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago, IL for the initial 12-month period.
  • 6+ months of professional sales or sales internship experience.
  • Strong aptitude for research, data analysis, and consultative selling.
  • Comfortable working in a competitive, high-performance environment.
  • Relentless persistence and grit in handling daily rejection.
  • Excellent communication skills for phone-based sales and smart calling.
