HRIS Analyst (Workday): Supporting the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday platform with an accent on Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, and system integrations. Focus on translating business requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring data integrity, and managing complex configuration workflows.
Location: Must be based in San Mateo, CA, or able to commute for in-office presence 3 days/week (Tue-Thur).
Salary: $116,100 – $166,865 USD

What you will do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday support, troubleshooting, and system performance monitoring.
- Configure and maintain business processes, security roles, notifications, and workflows within Workday.
- Manage Advanced Compensation modules, including matrices, merit grids, and eligibility rules.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to implement new functionality and optimize system automation.
- Perform regular data audits, support governance initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Manage integrations with third-party systems like Payroll, Benefits, and ATS.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of HRIS experience, including at least 2 years specifically supporting Workday.
- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM and business process configuration.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with 3 days/week in-office presence in San Mateo, CA.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Workday Pro certification or equivalent advanced experience.
- Experience with Workday Security Administration and complex Calculated Fields.
- Proficiency in Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, PECI).
- Experience supporting global HR processes and workforce management.
