TL;DR

Workday HRIS Specialist (Healthcare): Maintaining and optimizing the Workday HRIS platform with an accent on Advanced Compensation, Payroll, and Core HCM modules. Location: Remote (US). If based in San Diego, the role may be hybrid (approx. 1 day/week in office).

Salary: $68,000 – $90,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Maintain and configure Workday modules including Advanced Compensation, Payroll, and Core Data.
  • Create and distribute optimized Workday reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization, including data validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Facilitate system upgrades and the implementation of new HRIS features.
  • Ensure data integrity across all HR systems through regular quality checks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams regarding HRIS inquiries.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience with Workday HRIS, specifically Advanced Compensation and Payroll.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Core HCM and Performance Management modules.
  • Background in software implementation and system transitions.
  • Education or specific interest in the HR field.
