TL;DR

SLED Account Executive (Networking): Driving new business and managing existing accounts within the SLED sector with an accent on networking solutions, Erate funding processes, and strategic territory planning. Focus on prospecting, demand generation, and building long-term partnerships to exceed quarterly sales quotas.

Location: Must be based in Northern California, United States

Compensation: $200,000–$270,000 USD base salary plus commission

What you will do

  • Prospect and develop new business relationships within the existing customer base and new prospects.
  • Utilize solution sales expertise to capture new business and grow the install base.
  • Attain 100% or more of quarterly sales quotas through effective business planning and pipeline development.
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Present and demonstrate end-to-end wired, wireless, and security networking solutions.
  • Manage business reporting including monthly forecasts and weekly commits.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Northern California and able to travel weekly to meet with customers and partners.
  • Proven experience as a hunter with a history of developing new prospective customers.
  • Strong knowledge of SFDC and Clari for pipeline management.
  • Deep understanding of Erate funding and the Erate sales process.
  • Ability to articulate the business value proposition of networking solutions.
  • Strong business plan development and forecasting experience.
