What you will do
- Handle cancellation requests with a service-first mindset, offering relevant alternatives to retain subscribers when appropriate.
- Independently assess and process refund requests based on internal eligibility guidelines and subscription terms.
- Manage inquiries across email and live chat, utilizing internal AI tools to draft responses and translate languages.
- Act as the first point of contact for global users, resolving administrative issues and routing complex technical questions.
- Assist users with payment method updates, invoice explanations, and subscription management.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Support within a high-volume digital environment (SaaS, Fintech, or E-commerce).
- Proven experience in subscription-retention, win-back, or cancellation-save conversations.
- English proficiency (C1+) is required for all written communication.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze billing history and apply company policy fairly.
- High level of tech and AI adaptability, including comfort with AI-assisted communication and admin dashboards.
- Administrative precision and attention to detail when handling sensitive user data and payments.
Nice to have
- Experience with ticketing systems like Zendesk or Intercom.
- Background in subscription-based services and auto-renewal models.
- Fluency in additional languages (Spanish, French, German, etc.).
