TL;DR
Business Operations Lead (AI): Orchestrating commercial launches and strategic deals using AI-native operating modes with an accent on reducing coordination friction and automating cross-functional workflows. Focus on shipping AI agents, coordinating stakeholder alignment, and scaling new business models.
Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA (requires in-person attendance at least 3 days per week)
Salary: $225,000 – $310,000 cash compensation

What you will do
- Ship AI agents and automated workflows as the primary execution mode for all recurring processes.
- Serve as the central coordinator for commercial launches, tracking progress across cross-functional teams and surfacing gaps.
- Support the Strategic Pursuits team on deal readiness, bid management, and cross-functional sequencing.
- Maintain and improve the program management operating system, including intake forms, RACI, and communication templates.
- Translate cross-functional complexity into clean executive narratives and decision-ready status reports.
- Identify and escalate execution risks related to billing, revenue recognition, or commercial agreements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated AI-native operating fluency, including shipping production AI-assisted workflows or agents.
- 6+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or equivalent roles at a scaling technology company.
- Proven track record of running cross-functional programs across Pricing, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Product.
- Working understanding of SaaS commercial models, including pricing, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Strong executive presence and ability to drive alignment in writing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience building agentic operating tools for cross-functional coordination.
- Experience commercializing M&A acquisitions or new business models in multi-product portfolios.
- Familiarity with consumption-based pricing and revenue accounting (ASC 606).
- SQL fluency and comfort working directly with commercial data in a cloud platform.
- MBA, PMP, or equivalent program management credentials.
