What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and performance manage a regional team of Relationship Managers and Hunters.
  • Own the delivery of regional commercial plans and meet agreed business targets.
  • Use data and market insights to drive strategic actions and maximize regional performance.
  • Build and maintain strong local networks with SMEs, accountants, and professional advisers.
  • Ensure full compliance with risk appetite and control policies within the region.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape the wider D2C operating model and share best practices.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
  • Proven experience in senior commercial leadership, specifically managing relationship management or sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of SME banking, commercial lending, and credit assessment.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding commercial objectives and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and data-led decision-making skills.
  • Ability to design and execute effective local business development strategies.
