What you will do
- Lead, coach, and performance manage a regional team of Relationship Managers and Hunters.
- Own the delivery of regional commercial plans and meet agreed business targets.
- Use data and market insights to drive strategic actions and maximize regional performance.
- Build and maintain strong local networks with SMEs, accountants, and professional advisers.
- Ensure full compliance with risk appetite and control policies within the region.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape the wider D2C operating model and share best practices.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
- Proven experience in senior commercial leadership, specifically managing relationship management or sales teams.
- Strong understanding of SME banking, commercial lending, and credit assessment.
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding commercial objectives and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and data-led decision-making skills.
- Ability to design and execute effective local business development strategies.
