Relationship Director (Corporate Banking)

Location: Manchester or Liverpool, United Kingdom. Site-based role with a hybrid working pattern; office attendance is required at least 12 days per month. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary: £67,898–£101,846 per annum, depending on experience. Additional £6,000 car allowance per year.

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate banking clients and prospects.
• Create and deliver business development strategies through client and intermediary relationships.
• Provide a high-quality client experience and drive portfolio primacy.
• Assess credit and financial crime risks while maintaining strong governance and risk standards.
• Build a proactive, collaborative environment across Corporate and Commercial Banking.
• Coach and develop a Relationship Manager.

Requirements

• Experience developing and executing business development strategies in corporate banking.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate businesses and delivering high-quality client outcomes.
• Strong credit, financial crime, financial analysis, and risk assessment experience.
• Ability to structure complex lending solutions and prepare high-quality credit submissions.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, analytical, report-writing, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Fluent English is required, as is the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Professional banking or finance qualification such as Chartered Banker Diploma, ACIB, CFA, ACA, or ACCA.
