Location: London or Bristol (hybrid, 3 days/week in office); occasional travel to Borehamwood

What you will do

• Plan and oversee full lifecycle platform and integration testing for complex product and solution deliveries.
• Verify new or modified core platforms/services in lab and live environments as part of handover to operations.
• Manage day-to-day test execution, test case prioritisation, defect management, troubleshooting, and reporting in Jira.
• Analyse technical/business requirements and supplier release notes to define testing scope and write detailed test cases.
• Partner with test automation teams to design and develop automation scripts and increase automation coverage.
• Coordinate with environment delivery, data, and support teams to ensure suitable environments and data for timely test campaigns.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of the mobile communications industry, including 2G/4G/5G and 5GSA end-to-end flows and interfaces.
• Experience with integration and acceptance testing of Mobile Core platforms.
• Hands-on experience integrating and performing end-to-end testing of mobile network services (Voice, SMS, MMS, Data) with knowledge of core network elements.
• Knowledge of core network components (e.g., PGW, SGW, MME, SGSN, ePDG) and associated signalling protocols (e.g., SIP, Diameter, ISUP, MAP; 3GPP standards).
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
• Experience delivering using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring/troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Netscout, or Ericsson CNOM.
• Experience with test automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and faster testing turnaround for production releases.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, EMS, VNF, NFVI) and automation frameworks/tools (e.g., SEGRON, Perfecto, Landslide).
