QA Lead Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated functional and regression test suites using C#, .NET, BDD frameworks, and modern automation tools.
• Execute functional, regression, API, UI, and exploratory testing across Calastone products.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and MCP integrations to accelerate test creation, defect investigation, and impact analysis while validating generated output.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Product Management, DevOps, Operations, and Client Delivery teams to clarify requirements and support successful releases.
• Maintain BDD scenarios, automated test scripts, QA documentation, and automation standards while improving quality engineering processes.

Requirements

• Experience developing automated test frameworks with C#/.NET or Java and BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or Reqnroll.
• Strong experience automating REST API and UI testing with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, version control, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong SQL skills and experience validating complex datasets in relational databases.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and the ability to critically validate AI-generated outputs.
• Understanding of software testing principles, agile methodologies, test design techniques, automation best practices, and cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Financial services or fintech testing experience, including XML, JSON, FIX, SFTP, or Swift messaging.
• Familiarity with MCP integrations, AI agent workflows, event-driven architectures, Azure Service Bus, or Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Experience with NeoLoad or other non-functional testing tools.
• Knowledge of the European mutual funds or ETF industry.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
