What you will do

• Architect and lead the development of scalable, high-performance software, data lake, and data warehouse platforms.
• Evolve audience personalization platforms and data access services to ensure reliability and operational excellence.
• Define long-term technical vision and set standards for cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions and Code Pipeline to streamline deployment.
• Drive engineering excellence through TDD, test automation, and observability using CloudWatch and Grafana.
• Mentor engineers and champion DevSecOps principles across the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building scalable, resilient systems and handling sensitive data with robust security.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data warehouses, specifically Redshift, in cloud-native environments.
• Expertise with AWS services including DynamoDB, Redis, Aurora, Athena, S3, EC2, SQS, Lambda, and Managed Airflow.
• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation) and GitOps workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java for API development, data engineering, and automation.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
