What you will do

• Develop and implement scalable, performant backend solutions and data pipelines.
• Transform complex Point-of-Care (PoC) data into clear signals for breakage detection and analytics.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers through thorough pull request reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience building backend applications as part of a cross-functional team.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL on large multi-table data sets.
• 2+ years of experience acting as a technical decision-maker and coaching other engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with DataBricks and data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines using Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database replication, sharding, and handling sensitive data.
