What you will do

• Define technical direction and lead the development of critical data platform systems.
• Build and evolve data orchestration and streaming platforms from early investment to production-ready usage.
• Design scalable, reliable, multi-tenant data infrastructure for real-time analytics and event-driven applications.
• Own core platform concerns including scalability, performance, reliability, SLOs, and operational excellence.
• Apply DevOps/SRE practices including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and incident response.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate data systems and enforce governance and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with streaming data systems (Kafka, Flink, or Pulsar) and orchestration platforms (Airflow, Dagster, or Temporal).
• Hands-on experience designing and operating stateful, real-time data pipelines at scale.
• Expertise in managing cloud data stores (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lake architectures.
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (preferably Python) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Experience managing cloud technologies (AWS or Google Cloud) and supporting operational systems.
