Salary: Up to £54,000 base salary

What you will do

• Design, configure, and support VOD and Cloud Playout workflows to ensure maximum performance and availability.
• Deploy and optimize AWS-hosted media services using Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and EventBridge.
• Develop and troubleshoot metadata-driven workflows, XML configurations, and media processing pipelines.
• Manage Git-based configuration and CI/CD pipelines for the promotion of media services.
• Act as a Design Authority (DA) to lead the delivery of end-to-end media solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Software, and Network teams to integrate third-party vendor platforms.

Requirements

• Experience in Media Engineering within VOD, OTT, Broadcast, or Cloud Media environments.
• Practical expertise with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge, IAM).
• Proficiency with Git-based source control, configuration management, and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify software-driven workflows and automation scripts.
• Experience working with XML and structured configuration formats.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work in a hybrid model (Winchester or London).

Nice to have

• Strong Python knowledge for workflow logic and AWS Lambda troubleshooting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Terragrunt.
• Knowledge of modern IP video transport technologies (SRT, RIST, Zixi).
• Degree in Media Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
