Senior DevOps Engineer (Zscaler)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid work with a balance between home and office

Salary: €5,030–€7,183 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure internet and application access services using Zscaler platforms.
• Implement and improve Zscaler Private Access solutions for secure application connectivity in hybrid networks.
• Automate Zscaler configurations through APIs to improve reliability and deployment speed.
• Apply zero trust principles, cloud architectures, and DevOps practices across hybrid infrastructure.
• Test, document, and hand over solutions supporting business-critical services used worldwide.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams on scalable and resilient enterprise solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• Several years of experience in a complex enterprise infrastructure environment.
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps, Agile, Lean, and ITIL.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, cloud architectures, zero trust principles, and implementation strategies.
• Hands-on experience in network design, engineering, and operations for medium and large enterprise networks, including SD-WAN, VPN, and hybrid on-premises, commercial cloud, and colocation environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Zscaler Private Access, Zscaler Cloud Connector, Zscaler Client Connector, Zscaler API automation, browser isolation, and DLP.
