Operations Engineer - Apprentice (Cloud)

Location: Hybrid role based in Leeds, United Kingdom, with UK-based travel for projects. Must have the right to work in the UK and be able to achieve UK Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure services for clients.
• Work with experienced engineers to maintain performance, reliability, and service quality.
• Train across AWS, Azure, and supporting technologies.
• Plan and estimate work, deliver tasks on time, and report issues and progress accurately.
• Support alert monitoring, event management, and critical systems where required.

Requirements

• Strong motivation to continuously learn new skills, tools, and techniques.
• Interest in troubleshooting and solving complex problems.
• Effective communication and collaborative working skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, estimate work, and produce deliverables on time.
• Must be willing to travel within the UK for projects.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and be able to achieve UK Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience working with critical systems.

• Availability to join a 24/7 support rota depending on customer delivery.
