DevSecOps Architect / Technical Lead (Azure)

Location: EU; eligible countries include Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Work options include fully remote, office-based, or hybrid arrangements.

Salary: EUR 4,600–6,900 per month gross. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Translate the DevSecOps master plan into a practical implementation roadmap for a digital banking transformation.
• Define reusable CI/CD, security, release-management, vulnerability-management, and incident-response standards.
• Support the migration from Bitbucket and Jenkins to Azure Repos and Azure Pipelines.
• Implement security scanning, quality gates, artifact signing, SBOM generation, and secure promotion processes.
• Configure security controls for AKS, container images, identities, and secrets, and integrate security events with monitoring and SIEM platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, recommendations, knowledge transfer, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting support to delivery teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud security, or platform security.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps or comparable enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Experience designing secure CI/CD pipelines and integrating security scanners and quality gates.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and container security, preferably AKS, plus Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Knowledge of identity, secrets, certificate management, SAST, SCA, DAST, secret scanning, IaC scanning, and container scanning.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required. Strong communication and documentation skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and migration to Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, Defender for Containers, SonarQube, Sonatype, Nexus, Gitleaks, Checkov, or OWASP ZAP.
• Knowledge of SBOM, artifact signing, software supply-chain security, DefectDojo, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Policy, Gatekeeper, OPA, or Kubernetes admission controls.
• Experience in banking or another regulated industry, including DORA, audit traceability, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
