IT Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Ansible)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions across networks, storage, physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, and Windows and Linux systems.
• Build Infrastructure as Code solutions with Ansible and create reusable automation tools with Python.
• Develop and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform automation.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, patching, compliance, monitoring, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to improve operational processes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, document technical solutions, and support reliable, scalable, zero-downtime operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, advanced Python skills, and experience managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Broad knowledge of networking, storage, Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, and public or private cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, operational best practices, security, governance, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
