DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with at least 3 days a week in the office. Work eligibility in the Netherlands is required.

What you will do

• Own and operate Kubernetes clusters running production workloads.
• Build and maintain infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure using Terraform.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized services with Docker.
• Implement observability through metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting.
• Support AI/ML workloads, including model serving, batch jobs, and GPU workloads.
• Improve reliability, security posture, cost efficiency, and production-ready architectures in partnership with engineering.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid experience managing real infrastructure with Terraform.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar pipeline tooling and strong Docker fundamentals.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Linux and scripting skills with Bash, Python, or similar technologies; interest or experience supporting AI/ML systems.

Nice to have

• GPU scheduling or ML platform experience.
• Helm or Kustomize experience.
• Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other security and compliance environments.
