What you will do
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the WordPress audience, including segment prioritization and channel investment.
- Build and maintain relationships with WordPress media, influencers, and community leaders to establish brand presence.
- Direct the development of an agency-facing digital property and resource hub.
- Own the content strategy, including flagship industry reports, product narratives, and customer success stories.
- Manage media partnerships, sponsorships, and represent the company at industry events like WordCamps and CloudFest.
- Align product and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective partner enablement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience in product, ecosystem, or developer marketing.
- Deep, demonstrable footing in the WordPress ecosystem, including understanding of agency business models and community dynamics.
- Proven track record of owning a market segment or GTM motion from strategy to execution.
- Experience in content strategy with a portfolio of published thought leadership or product narratives.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and build programs from the ground up.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills to align product and sales teams.
