What you will do

• Architect, administer, and optimize the Solace PubSub+ platform, including physical appliances and software brokers.
• Tune Solace brokers, message VPNs, and topic hierarchies to achieve ultra-low latency requirements.
• Partner with global development teams to integrate trading applications and design optimized subscription patterns for market data distribution.
• Deploy and maintain real-time monitoring dashboards using ITRS Geneos and Corvil network analytics.
• Automate operational tasks and manage data pipelines using Python, Shell, and SQL.
• Provide high-pressure production support and participate in a global on-call and weekend change-management rotation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience supporting high-performance technical platforms within Capital Markets or Electronic Trading.
• Expert-level knowledge of Solace PubSub+, including guaranteed/direct messaging, VPN configuration, SEMP API, and DMR.
• Deep proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, network performance tuning, and packet analysis (tcpdump, Wireshark).
• Strong understanding of FX/FI pre-trade workflows and serialization formats like FIX, JSON, and Protobuf.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and SQL.
• Must be based in London for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Solace Certified Administrator or Solace Certified Developer credentials.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or Flink.
• Familiarity with ITIL change-management frameworks.
