What you will do

• Install, configure, and optimize PostgreSQL database environments.
• Manage backups, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Handle database security, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Administer SaaS platforms, including SSO, IAM, and user lifecycle management.
• Perform cloud platform (Azure) and Linux server administration.
• Create documentation and implement continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
• Expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and high availability.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and SaaS platform management.
• Experience with Azure and scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS environments.
