Supply Engineering Team Lead

Location: Remote or on-site in the United States — New York, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Early Branch, South Carolina; Greenwood, South Carolina; McCormick, South Carolina; or Dallas, Texas. Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers, assigning priorities and monitoring deadlines.
• Coordinate glass, hardware, and production material procurement to ensure production readiness.
• Plan inventory levels, forecast procurement needs, and review technical drawings, specifications, dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Resolve supplier quality, logistics, and delivery issues while improving procurement efficiency and cost performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Estimating, Warehouse, and Installation teams on material recommendations, substitutions, documentation, and procurement planning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or in a similar engineering procurement role on the U.S. market.
• Previous people management or team leadership experience.
• Experience with international suppliers, procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
• Fluent English is required. Experience with ClickUp or a similar task management system is required; fluent Russian is a plus.
