What you will do
- Design and deliver scalable Data Center and Campus network solutions using Cisco, Arista, HPE, and Aruba platforms.
- Support WAN operations, including internet edge and SD-WAN integrations, ensuring consistent routing and security.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to implement preventive changes and avoid unscheduled outages.
- Partner with Data Center, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud Ops, and Security teams to deliver cross-domain programs.
- Establish and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standards, and operational runbooks.
- Manage Day 2 operations, including monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience in enterprise network architecture, design, and operations (DC, Campus, WAN, and hybrid cloud).
- Expert-level routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN) and high availability (MLAG/vPC, LACP).
- Strong background in network security fundamentals, including segmentation, ACLs, and firewall integrations.
- Hands-on experience with NAC/AAA solutions such as Cisco ISE and/or Aruba ClearPass.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cisco certification required (CCNP preferred; CCIE is a strong plus).
Nice to have
- Experience with SD-WAN design and hybrid connectivity patterns.
- Experience supporting Cisco VPN, Aruba ClearPass, and F5 Load Balancers.
- Proficiency in network automation and observability (scripting, templating, telemetry) to reduce MTTR.
