Senior Life Cycle Engineer/ Expert/ Specialist (Experience in Routing, Switching, NAT and QoS)

Location: Amman, Jordan; hybrid work with work-from-home flexibility up to 2 days per week. Customer migration support may require work outside standard Amman hours, including early mornings or evenings.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of wired and wireless LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, network security, cloud security, and shared infrastructure services across airports and gateways.
• Lead pilot and customer migrations from existing environments to the hirify.global Connect Versa platform, coordinating implementation, validation, troubleshooting, Design, and Engineering activities.
• Oversee WAN and service-provider network provisioning, performance monitoring, service changes, enhancements, and platform updates.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across routing, switching, NAT, QoS, IPsec, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Maintain customer network and infrastructure documentation and support incident, problem, and change management.
• Evaluate automation and new technologies, train operational teams, and provide technical guidance on lifecycle management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience managing and optimizing network service lifecycles, including provisioning, monitoring, enhancement, and decommissioning.
• Practical WAN and service-provider experience with BGP, OSPF, static routing, NAT, QoS, IPsec, Layer 2 technologies, and high availability.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco ACI.
• Knowledge of network service models, service-level agreements, network management tools, and incident, problem, and change management processes.
• An associate-level security certification is mandatory.

Nice to have

• CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or an equivalent networking certification.
• SD-WAN experience, especially with Versa SD-WAN, or an SD-WAN certification.
• Experience with network automation, cloud security technologies, or airport network infrastructure.
