What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise routing across a global routing estate (BGP, OSPF, and related policy-based routing).
• Engineer and operate Cisco SD-WAN (Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela), including policy design, template management, site onboarding, and overlay/underlay troubleshooting.
• Lead campus networking across global office and lab environments (access/distribution/core, wireless, and network access) to ensure reliable, secure, high-performance connectivity.
• Act as Tier 3/4 escalation point for complex incidents, driving root-cause analysis and permanent resolution.
• Deliver new site builds, refreshes, and migrations, producing designs, interconnect matrices, and cutover plans while coordinating with vendors and installation partners.
• Maintain operational health using monitoring/telemetry tooling; contribute to standards/runbooks and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Expert-level enterprise routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, route redistribution, path selection, and policy-based routing.
• Hands-on experience operating routing on Cisco platforms (IOS-XE, ASR/ISR, Catalyst 8000) at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of internet edge, WAN, and DIA circuit design, including working with service providers on connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Deep Cisco SD-WAN expertise (Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela), including control/management/data plane components (vManage/Catalyst Manager, vBond, vSmart) and overlay/underlay troubleshooting.
• Expert campus LAN architecture knowledge (access/distribution/core, L2/L3 design, spanning tree, VLANs, HSRP/VRRP) and strong Cisco campus switching experience (Catalyst 9000) or Juniper switching.
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering/operations experience, including a senior or lead technical role, with strong troubleshooting and communication across regions.
