Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with two days in the office each week

What you will do

• Understand commercial customers’ business needs, use cases, and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations for commercial audiences.
• Lead organized proof-of-value processes and secure technical wins throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and cross-functional teams to improve products and customer outcomes.
• Support advanced technical and business problem-solving while staying current with industry technologies and trends.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, BI tools, and self-hosted applications.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and ETL or data replication tools.
• Hands-on networking experience in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing partner relationships.
• Specialized expertise in security posture.
• Experience with self-hosted and SaaS applications.
• Hands-on experience with dbt.
