TL;DR
Platform Operations Engineer (Hybrid Infrastructure): Supporting and improving on-premises and hybrid infrastructure platforms for mission-critical systems with an accent on reliability, operational stability, and security governance. Focus on leading complex incident resolution, coordinating vendors and infrastructure refresh activities, and maintaining stable operations during cloud and hybrid infrastructure transition.
Location: Singapore, South West, Singapore; full-time onsite role supporting on-premises and hybrid infrastructure platforms.

What you will do
- Oversee daily operational support and maintenance of critical infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments with internal and L1 vendor engineers.
- Provide technical oversight across compute, storage, virtualization, operating systems, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and related platforms.
- Lead complex incident management, including technical investigation, root cause analysis, recovery planning, and resolution follow-up.
- Coordinate vendors and review technical changes, service requests, implementation plans, and recovery approaches.
- Support security and technical governance, operational readiness checks, compliance alignment, and change reviews.
- Coordinate infrastructure refresh, upgrades, migrations, risks, dependencies, milestones, and documentation across internal teams and vendors.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in infrastructure or platform operations.
- Experience supporting production or mission-critical environments and vendor-supported operating models.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, operating systems, storage, backup, networking, monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting.
- Experience troubleshooting complex incidents and coordinating technical project delivery, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholders.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix; Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Server; and enterprise storage, backup, HA, and DR solutions.
- Work location: Singapore. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Nice to have
- At least 2 years of experience in government or public sector settings.
- Data centre operations experience.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code.
