Financial Analyst (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Hollister, California, United States

Salary: $87,720–$162,840 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Communicate financial performance, plans, and targets across the operating company.
• Investigate and analyze monthly variances against forecasts, plans, prior periods, and prior years.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Partner with accounting, finance, operations, supply chain, program management, pricing, and contracts teams.
• Develop monthly forecasts and budgets with functional managers.
• Identify business risks and opportunities and communicate data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience.
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI, or strong systems aptitude.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• U.S. citizenship or qualifying U.S. person status is required for ITAR and U.S. Government export-control compliance; ongoing employment depends on obtaining required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of government accounting and GAAP.
• Aerospace and defense experience.
• Manufacturing or factory operations background.
