What you will do

• Drive critical insights for the app product team to assess audience behavior and advocate for user needs.
• Own the experimentation process on owned and operated platforms to implement and analyze results.
• Write and implement complex SQL queries to provide performance analytics across app, video, and website datasets.
• Develop research tools and reporting to anticipate and address current and future business needs.
• Communicate quantitative information to non-technical stakeholders to foster a data-driven learning culture.
• Train and mentor team members on technical skills and data-driven strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of expertise in SQL and databases (BigQuery/Dataform is a plus).
• 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in Google Firebase data and app analytics.
• 5+ years of experience with GA4 or similar large digital behavior datasets.
• 5+ years of experience with Optimizely or comparable experimentation tools.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Expert proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for complex formulas and automated reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in news media.
• Proficiency in building statistical models using R or Python.
• Experience in solving complex analytical problems through cross-functional collaboration.
