What you will do

• Investigate customer data questions using SQL and identify root causes of platform issues.
• Create detailed engineering tickets with reproduction steps and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to improve platform quality and data reliability.
• Develop technical skills in Python, Git, and AI-assisted development to transition into a software engineering role.
• Validate fixes with the engineering team to ensure customer issues are fully resolved.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• 0–2 years of professional experience; recent graduates and interns are encouraged to apply.
• Experience writing SQL to analyze or investigate data.
• Must have an eligible work permit in the USA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating ambiguous questions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google BigQuery or other modern cloud data warehouses.
• Experience writing Python.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Exposure to Git, software development workflows, or programming projects.
