Salary: USD $100,000 - $140,000

What you will do

• Oversee the full data pipeline from instrumentation through presentation
• Partner with departments and senior leadership to define what to measure and how to analyze it
• Define KPIs for engagement, retention, and churn and design pipelines to collect them
• Own database schema, performance, and health
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and supporting infrastructure
• Automate reporting and create dashboards for multiple audiences

Requirements

• 5+ years in a data analyst or analytics engineering role
• Strong SQL skills (querying, schema design, and performance tuning)
• Proficiency in backend/analysis languages such as Python, R, or Java
• Hands-on experience building and owning ETL processes
• Depth in statistical modeling (regression, hypothesis testing, predictive models, confidence and error)
• Ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Games industry experience, especially large multiplayer games
• Background in Unreal and C++
• Experience with a JVM language for backend work
• Experience with Snowflake or similar columnar databases (e.g., Redshift)
