What you will do

• Own the civil, structural, and architectural reference design standards for a global data center portfolio.
• Lead front-end test fits and site feasibility studies to inform site selection and design direction.
• Review and approve CSA deliverables (SD, DD, CD, IFC) from design-build partners and AE firms.
• Integrate CSA design with MEP and IT infrastructure to support high-density compute and direct liquid-cooling systems.
• Drive site and campus planning to maximize compute density and optimize construction phasing.
• Evaluate modular and prefabricated construction opportunities to reduce schedule and design risk.

Requirements

• 10+ years delivering mission-critical facility infrastructure, with 6+ years specifically in hyperscale data center CSA design.
• Deep expertise in civil site development, structural design, and architectural programming for industrial facilities.
• Experience as an owner's engineer setting technical standards and managing external design teams.
• Proficiency with building codes including IBC, IFC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, and FM Global.
• Experience with high-density compute environments and liquid-cooling infrastructure.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in civil/structural engineering or licensed architect (AIA/RA).
• Experience with prefabricated and modular construction strategies.
• LEED accreditation or Uptime Institute AOS/M&O certification.
• International project delivery experience in Europe or Asia-Pacific regions.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, or Navisworks.
