What you will do

• Develop high-frequency AC/DC and DC/DC power converter solutions for AI and data center applications.
• Define converter architectures, intermediate bus converter modules, protection circuits, and key system components.
• Provide switching power supply design support and technical guidance for applications using hirify.global products.
• Develop reference designs and application solutions focused on performance, efficiency, system value, density, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product development teams and customers to evaluate design tradeoffs and solve complex technical challenges.
• Provide advanced application support as a technical expert to customers worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a foreign equivalent.
• At least 12 years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise in high-density, high-frequency power converter design, including server power applications above 3 kW.
• Strong knowledge of active power factor correction, phase-shifted and LLC resonant converters, buck, boost, buck-boost, and flyback converters, and high-frequency magnetics.
• Experience with worst-case circuit calculations, MATLAB, Excel, SIMPLIS, LTspice, or PLECS, and laboratory equipment for testing high-frequency switching power supplies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical specifications, reports, test plans, and instructions.

Nice to have

• Firmware development in C/C++ for embedded power supply controllers.
• Experience with ANSYS finite element tools and power converter development from concept through production and post-production support.
• Knowledge of I2C, PMBus, and debugging tools for power converters with embedded controllers.
