What you will do

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct/indirect labor, utilities, and factory overhead.
  • Collect and validate production data to prepare cost-per-unit calculations and breakdowns.
  • Document manufacturing workflows and identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Support cost-benefit analyses for automation and process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams.
  • Maintain costing models and prepare dashboards/reports for management reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a structured approach to work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Tables, Charts, and basic formulas.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Seremban, Malaysia.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing (SOT, SOD, QFN, NQFN packages).
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Power Query, or Python.
  • Internship or university project experience in industrial engineering or process improvement.
