Equipment Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Maintain and support ATE testers and handlers, performing preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and PCB issues down to component level.
• Optimize test processes, equipment performance, yield, quality, throughput, and cycle time.
• Support FT/SLT production testing, monitor tester uptime and equipment efficiency, and resolve production-impacting issues.
• Debug test failures, perform failure analysis for production rejects and RMA units, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop or maintain ATE hardware, load boards, and test programs where applicable, and collaborate with design engineers on product testability.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ATE testers, handlers, test equipment, hardware, and PCBs.
• Ability to perform component-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Experience supporting semiconductor production testing, including FT/SLT, and monitoring equipment uptime and yield.
• Ability to create SOPs, work instructions, maintenance procedures, equipment logs, calibration records, and reports.
• Knowledge of quality systems and ISO/QS standards.
• Ability to collaborate with production, process, test, and design teams and provide technical training to technicians and operators.
