What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term AI/ML strategy to align with product and business goals.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of machine learning engineers and scientists.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of key AI/ML initiatives, including LLM integration and prompt engineering.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership in product, engineering, and data science to drive product vision.
• Optimize engineering processes to improve team velocity, code quality, and deployment standards.
• Manage resource allocation and mitigate technical risks to maintain project momentum.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience in the data science domain.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing ML teams.
• Experience building and scaling machine learning models for business applications using large datasets.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer/B2C or enterprise/B2B SaaS environments.
• Expertise in developing deep learning-based models and LLM-related applications.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex problems and break them into manageable components.
