Senior Applied Scientist (LLM Code Agents)

Location: Santa Clara, California, USA. Employees may work in the office every day or use a flexible hybrid model near a U.S. hirify.global office.

Salary: $192,200–$260,000 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Develop reinforcement learning and post-training methods for large language models specialized in code intelligence.
• Invent and implement machine learning solutions operating at hirify.global scale.
• Deploy generative AI products that improve the workflows of millions of developers.
• Advance intelligent code assistance through AI and machine learning research.
• Publish and present research at premier ML and NLP conferences.
• Work directly with customers to transition research breakthroughs into production systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or a master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Ability to work in the USA, with the role based in Santa Clara and requiring office or hybrid availability near a U.S. hirify.global office.
