Salary: $107,360–$152,900 USD (US) or $128,661–$157,061 CAD (Canada).

What you will do

• Build and iterate on consumer-facing AI features powered by LLMs and generative AI systems.
• Collaborate on the AI engineering stack, including prompt engineering and agentic workflow optimization.
• Run structured experiments and A/B tests to measure impact on engagement and quality.
• Strengthen model reliability through monitoring, guardrails, and failure mode investigation.
• Optimize the latency, cost, and scalability of production AI systems.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate user needs into scalable AI solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Availability for meetings during coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (2025/2026 graduate).
• Strong understanding of mathematical foundations of Machine Learning algorithms.
• Experience with LLM applications or transformer models.
• Proficiency in Python or C++, or the ability to learn them quickly.

• Previous software engineering experience via internships or coding competitions.
• Hands-on experience building agents in a production environment at scale.
