What you will do
- Act as primary contact for healthcare providers and billing agencies regarding claims-related inquiries.
- Resolve inquiries about claim status, payments, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) via phone, email, and fax.
- Research and provide accurate information on claim outcomes and payment status.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex provider issues and manage appeals.
- Process payment-related requests including stop payments and check reissuances.
- Document all interactions accurately while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare contact centers, provider services, or claims support.
- Knowledge of healthcare claims, EOBs, and appeals processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Stable internet connection (50Mbps+), backup connection, and a quiet dedicated work area.
